1. Can both boys and girls play in this League?
-- Yes! Besides all skill levels of boys, we have many girls that begin their athletic career in Pee Wee Baseball.
2. What ages can play Pee Wee Baseball?
-- The player needs to be 4 years old by when our games start the first of May and should not have turned 8 years old by August 1 of this year.
3. What is the cost of Pee Wee Baseball?
-- The season’s registration fee is $65. This fee would include at least 13 scheduled games (based on our 16 team League); Major League Baseball official logo shirt and cap; end of season trophy; end of season League pool party at Gill Pool in Ellis Park; and great enjoyment for the whole family!
4. Where do you play?
-- All practices and games are in Danville’s Ellis Park.
5. When are practices and games?
-- We will start practices around the first week of April. During this time there will be one practice on a week night and one practice on a Saturday morning. These practices will be one hour in length. We will start games around the first week of May. When games start, there will no longer be practices – just games. We will play one game on a weeknight (starting at 6 PM) and one game on a Saturday morning (games starting at either 9 AM, 11 AM, or 1 PM). We do not schedule games on Memorial Day weekend. Our season concludes by the end of June.
6. Is Pee Wee Baseball coach pitch or TBall?
-- Our League is coach pitch. We believe that the sooner a child learns to judge a pitched ball the better they will be in the long run.
